BEFORE THE STATE RECORDS COMMITTEE OF THE STATE OF UTAH

UTAH ATTORNEY GENERAL’S OFFICE, Respondent.

SECOND ORDER OF CONTINUANCE

Case No. 09-10

The above matter came before the State Records Committee (“Committee”) for a hearing held on August 13, 2009. The Committee having previously received documents from the Respondent, Utah Attorney General’s Office, for in camera review; having reviewed such documents and determined that a “Bates” stamp is needed for the documents in order to properly identify each document; and finding that additional time is needed to review the documents once resubmitted by Respondent; it is hereby

ORDERED THAT: that the hearing is continued until the next meeting of the Committee, on Thursday, September 10, 2009, at the hour of 9:30 A.M.; it is further

ORDERED that Respondent, Utah Attorney General’s Office, shall re-submit to the Executive Secretary of the State Records Committee copies of the remaining contested documents with a “Bates” stamp on or before August 31, 2009, to allow the Committee to complete its in camera review prior to the September 10, 2009 hearing; and it is further

ORDERED that the documents received by the Committee shall continue to be securely held at the State Archives Building to effectuate the in camera review of the Committee; it is further

ORDERED that at the September 10, 2009 meeting of the Committee, the hearing in this matter shall resume and the Committee will conclude an in camera review of the remaining contested records.

This Order as it pertains to the Continuance and resubmission of the documents by Respondent with a “Bates” stamp was made without the objection and with the consent of the parties.
