This series contains the official record of regular and special town council meetings. The minutes describe the issues discussed in meetings and record any votes or official actions taken by the council. The minutes typically include the date and time of the meeting, the council members present, the business handled, and the time of adjournment. The official copy is usually signed by the city recorder. Filed with the earlier minutes are occasional related materials, such as ordinances, resolutions, or financial reports. The series includes some draft minutes from the 1930's, in addition to the final approved version for the same time period.
