Scope and Content

This series contains correspondence, survey records, published statements, and forecast reports pertaining to snow and irrigation measurements in the state of Utah. Correspondence typically consists of snow survey work done in the field that is being reported back to the office of the State Engineer. A bulk of the series is comprised of published Federal-State Cooperative Snow Survey and Irrigation Water Forecast reports for both the Colorado River Drainage Basin and the state of Utah in general.
