Scope and Content
These are the daily schedules of Governor Bangerter. They were created to coordinate his activities and obligations efficiently. Each day's schedule records date; times; type of activity, often with notations; names of persons or groups with whom he would be meeting; and staff involved. Activities include business meetings, speeches, trips, etc. The schedules span the period from just before the inauguration of Governor Bangerter's first term through the end of his second term.

Processing Note
Arrangement was begun by Susan Sackenheim in 1993. Arrangement was completed, notes taken, and the container list typed by Antoinette Sotiriou in 1993. The remainder was completed by Alice Cone, May 1994. A box located after the remainder of the project was completed was added to the inventory and filmed in January 1995. Biweekly schedules and speech schedules were weeded from the series as the same information was repeated on the daily schedules; daily schedules were also kept more up-to-date as plans or itineraries changed. Daily schedules required some rearrangement as they were packed in the boxes in clumps, rather than in strictly chronological order. The daily schedules were microfilmed in 1993. Following filming of the daily schedules, the paper copy of all schedules, daily, biweekly, and speech, were returned to former Governor Bangerter at his request. A few days are missing, particularly during the holidays. Gaps are noted on the film.
