Scope and Content
This series contains guides and materials to assist teachers in their individual subjects. The guides include basic steps for introducing new concepts while reinforcing prior instruction. Most were created by members of Curriculum Study Committees; which consist of teachers, school administrators, and State Education Office Staff. Often the guides are produced by specialists in a particular topic or result conferences organized for the purpose of creating a new guide. The areas of curriculum include: art, chemistry, drivers education, economics, foreign languages, health and related topics, mathematics, music, physical education, reading, safety education, science, social studies, Utah and U.S. history, and values education.
