Scope and Content
These cards serve as a subject index to the Attorney General's opinions. They contain the date of the opinion, a description of the subject, the requesting agency and/or person, and the opinion number for those opinions filed between 1945 and 1964.
Arrangement
Chronological by multiple-year batch, thereunder alphabetical by first letter of subject keyword or name of agency.
Research Note
Each letter of the alphabet is divided into two sections; a chronological listing of miscellaneous opinions, and groupings of opinions which fall under a single subject heading or agency name. For example, an opinion on an audit process might fall under the first section of the "A's" in chronological order, or might appear with other opinions related to "Audits" in the second section. The cards with subject headings are arranged alphabetically.
