Scope and Content
This series contains two poll books recording the number and names of the persons voting in Randolph, districts 2 and 3, on 5 November 1940. These documents include such information as names of voters, numbers of votes cast, names of the judges of election, place of election, and date of election. These documents were created by the election judges to record "the number and names of the persons voting" and were submitted to the County Clerk. The County Clerk used these records as documentation that the election was conducted according to law.

The County Clerk transferred the original records in this series to the State Archives in July 2018.
