Scope and Content
This series contains books used to track the time of jurors and witnesses in various criminal and civil cases and the payment of fees for the service of these individuals. The books record such information as the names of jurors or witnesses, the days on which service was rendered, the total number of days, the fee per day and total fee, mileage, travel fees, and the certificate number.

Custody History
This series was created by the 3rd District Court for Tooele County and was in the custody of the court clerk, who also functioned as the Tooele County Clerk. In 1989 the two offices were separated, but these records were left behind in county clerk's office. The county clerk kept the records until June 2014 when they were transferred to the State Archives.
