Scope and Content
This series contains ledgers and books recording the levy and assessment of special taxes for improvement projects in Spring City. Improvement project payments documented in this series include paving projects, waterworks, grading, and sidewalk installments. The books record such information as the address, extension, plat, block, lot, and/or subdivision numbers of property affected by the improvement projects as well as the names of the owners of the properties, the taxes they owe for the projects, the amount paid, whether or not the amount was paid in full or in installments , and the dates of payments. Also included in this series is an unbound ledger recording the names and property information of those who were delinquent on their payments.
