Scope and Content
This series contains files on property owned by the district. The records were compiled to document acquisition, ownership, and legal boundaries of the properties. The files include records of sale, lease agreements, titles, title abstracts, deeds, real estate contracts, plat maps of the streets surrounding the schools, and utility easements. Some of the information in the records dates from prior to the creation of the school district, tracing ownership back to the earliest owners of the property.
