Scope and Content
The primary record in this series is a published Board of Education Annual Report for the 1903-04 school year. The report contains a variety of information regarding the school district for the school year as well as some historical information. Included in the report is information such as a list of current officers, teachers, schools, and holidays, as well as reports and charts showing financial, population, and statistical information. It includes a president's report summarizing the district's accomplishments and general condition and a superintendent's report detailing how to make positive adjustments in education and providing a history of Ogden High School. The report also contains a lengthy history of Ogden schools extending back prior to the creation of the school district in 1890. The report contains various pictures showing school buildings, board of education members, pupils and their instructors.
In addition to the 1903-04 Annual Report, the series contains a document dating from about 1916 containing historical information transcribed from the report, as well as later statistical data. Along with this document is one page of statistical information from the 1929-1930 school year.
