Scope and Content
This series contains the official record of laws passed by the city council. Each ordinance is numbered and typically includes the text of the law, along with date it was adopted by the council, the signatures of the city recorder and mayor, and a certification by the recorder. The ordinances deal with a wide variety of issues, such as the employment of elected and appointed officials, vehicles and traffic control, water use and allocation, fire and police protection, regulation of alcohol, business regulation, and the establishment of city fees and fines.
