Scope and Content
This series contains records of the construction of the Weber County Courthouse in the early 1870's. The records consist mostly of notes from courthouse architect Walter Thomson authorizing payment by the Building Committee to contractors for work done on the building and receipts for payments made.

The records in this series were found in 2016 among miscellaneous County Clerk administrative records at the State Archives. It appeared that they had been in the possession of the State Archives as far back as the 1960's or 70's.
