Scope and Content
This series contains the published compiled ordinances adopted by the town council at various times. The 1915 version was compiled under the the direction of town board member M. W. Mangelson and is a typed and bound copy. A second codified set of ordinances was adopted by the town council effective March 1983. This set was created in 1975 by the Utah League of Cities and Towns and presumably included some standardized ordinances that could be adopted by any municipality. Some changes had been made to the compilation in 1977 and 1980, prior to adoption by the council. Filed at the back of the codified ordinances are newer, uncodified ordinances adopted between 1981 and 1994.

Levan Town transferred original records in this series dating from 1915-1994 to the State Archives in 2015 after they were microfilmed.
