Scope and Content
This series contains published reports based on studies of physical plant needs of schools in sixteen school districts around the state, including Cache, Davis, Duchesne, Emery, Garfield, Kane, Logan, Murray, North Sanpete, Ogden, Rich, San Juan, South Summit, Tooele, Washington, and Wayne School Districts. The studies were undertaken by Robert B. Barker, Nelson W. Clayton, and Dr. O. C. England under the direction of the School Building Survey Commission. The studies resulted in a report for each school district, detailing the condition of each school in the district. The reports include a written description of the condition of each school building and a valuation analysis of the building, including the original cost of construction and depreciation over time. The analysis also includes such information as the date of construction for the building, the square footage, a photograph, and floor plan sketches. The studies were conducted in conjunction with, and draw data from Holy-Arnold evaluations done of the same school buildings by Dr. England.
In addition to the individual school building reports, there are two appendices containing a variety of statistical data compiled as part of the studies. This data includes information about such things as current and projected school populations, historical daily attendance and enrollment in schools, Latter-day Saint ward populations, the value of insurance policies held by Utah schools, and the size of school properties in the state.

Alphabetical by school district, thereunder by elementary, junior high, and high schools, thereunder alphabetical by school name.
