Scope and Content
This series is comprised of a single book identified as "Deed and Transfer Book A, Payson City Cemetery Record." The book contains the cemetery copy of deeds to cemetery lots. The deeds were used to keep an accurate record of lot ownership . They include the name of the purchaser or grantee, date of purchase, lot description, and purchase price. They list the mayor acting as grantor in behalf of Payson City, the date of the deed, and a certification signed by a notary public.
