Series 28329
Heber City (Utah) Cemetery burial index
Dates: 1859-2011.
These records are housed in the Utah State Archives' permanent storage room.
Scope and Content
This series contains pre-printed 3" x 5" cards used to track the identity and location of burials in the cemetery by individual name. The card files were likely started in the mid to late-twentieth century, using information from older sources to document earlier burials. Over time, cards were added to the file to document newer burials. The cards include space to record such information as the name of the deceased, birth date and place, parents' names, death date and place, and location of burial. In addition to this information some cards have notes about such things as cause of death, attending physician, name of mortuary, and military veteran status.
Arrangement
Alphabetical by name of the deceased.
