Scope and Content
This series contains information about individuals buried in the Honeyville and Call's Fort Cemeteries. The information is collected by the cemetery to assist in making burial arrangements and as a record of the identity of individuals interred in the cemetery. Most of the information is provided by mortuaries on standardized forms. The forms include such information as name and location of the cemetery, name of the deceased, state of residence, date and place of birth, age at death, name of parents and next of kin, date and place of death, cause of death, date and place of funeral, date and time of burial, and undertaker.
For some individuals, obituaries or transit permits are used as a source of identifying information.The information gathered in the files is used to compile the Cemetery Monthly Report of Deaths submitted to the Utah Department of Health. The series includes a few other documents, including some copies of the Monthly Report of Deaths.
Arrangement
For records created from 1927 to 2006, arrangement is alphabetical by first letter of last name, thereunder by cemetery.For records created from 2000 to 2012, arrangement is chronological.
Records from the years 2000 to 2006 may be filed either in the alphabetical or the chronological portion of the records.

Gaps in Series
While the earliest records in this series date from the 1920's, the majority date from the 1950's forward. This suggests that some records have been lost over time or that record keeping in earlier years was sporadic.
