Scope and Content
In 1990 the Utah State Historical Society transferred an extensive set of historic records to the Utah State Archives. At the time a box level inventory was created to facilitate access. These inventory sheets are arranged by creating section and include Library Files, Publications, Antiquities, and Preservation. They correspond to individually applicable series numbers held by the State Archives and can be used to better access a large portion of unprocessed records created by the Historical Society.

By section, thereunder numerical by box number.
Research Note
At the time of transfer the box inventory included a section for administration files. These inventory pages were weeded and removed from the series when processing work was completed on series 3192, Utah State Historical Society Administration Files.
