Scope and Content

This series contains a variety of records that came into the possession of the Gunnison City Cemetery. These records include a death register for the city of Gunnison; a alphabetical listing of burials for Axtell, Sanpete County; an alphabetical printout of burials for Fayette, Sanpete County; an alphabetical printout of burials for the Centerfield cemetery; an alphabetical printout of burials for the Gunnison City cemetery; a listing of vacant and sold lots for the Gunnison City Cemetery; and an alphabetical lot report for the Gunnison City cemetery of those buried there as of 15 Feb 2005.

The second reel contains the sexton's records for the Gunnison City Cemetery. Information may include names, date and place of birth, parents, religion, marital status, date and place of death, cause of death, location of grave, occupation and other personal details. Records are arranged chronologically by date of death.
