Scope and Content
This series contains photographs preserved by Governor Walker's office which depict Walker in a variety of formal and informal situations. Photographs in this series document Governor Walker's participation at various events, meetings, and conferences. It also contains numerous photographs of her meeting with assorted dignitaries. While most of the photographs in this series depict her years of service as governor there are many that pre-date that period and show her work as both a state legislator as well as Lieutenant Governor.

Custody History
This records series was transferred to the State Archives by Michael Smith (Governor's Office Manager) with some photos later donated to the Archives by Nina Slighting (Governor Walker's daughter).

Processing Note
This series was archivally processed by Jim Kichas in July, 2007. Rod Swaner scanned prints and negatives in April 2010 which were then made available online.
Two DVDs in Box 2 Folder 59 containing digital photographs from 2003 and 2004 were found to be not readable in 2010. Further testing revealed that it was due to corrupt ZIP archives which were then repaired. New copies of the photographs were burned to Mellenniata brand DVDs and added as electronic record sets by Gina Strack in October 2011.
