Scope and Content

This series contains ordinances implemented by the Hurricane city council. These legislative actions regulate, require, prohibit, govern, control, or supervise any activity, business, conduct, or condition authorized by UCA 10-3-701 to 715 (1997). These records include such information as the ordinance number and title, the subject of the ordinance and any associated penalties of violation, the effective date, the signature of the mayor, and the municipal seal. Example ordinances include parking regulations, fire code updates, updates of the city's water conservation plan, land use, zone changes, animal control, and utilities.
