Scope and Content
This series contains minutes from Springdale City Council meetings. The minutes were created by the city recorder to document the proceedings of the city council, including issues considered by the council, decisions made, and actions taken. These minutes usually include such information as the date and time of each meeting as well as a list of those present and those absent; a summary or brief description of topics discussed including city finances, issues related to ordinances and resolutions, construction and special improvement projects, water rights, public utilities, city clubs, planning and zoning, business licenses, and more; a record of motions made or votes taken; the names of citizens who appeared before the council for any reason and a description of their testimonies; and any other information entered by council members or the recorder.

The records in this series were transferred by Springdale to the State Archives in February 2019.
