Scope and Content

This series contains a record of laws adopted by the Town Council. It includes both codified versions of ordinances, as well as individual ordinances as passed by the council. The Compiled Ordinances of the Town of Leeds, Utah is the original codified version of ordinances for the town compiled in 1952 and taking effect in 1953. A 1975 code copyrighted by the Utah League of Cities and Towns is included in the series, although it is not clear if the code was adopted by the Town or not. Most of the later ordinances in the series are not codified, but just the version adopted by the council.
