Scope and Content
This series contains city death and burial registers that serve as a cross-references to plat books. Burial records are arranged numerically by interment number. These records may include names of deceased, permit number, date interred, certificate number, date of death, location of grave by plot, lot, tier, name of undertaker, owner of lot, and occasionally pertinent information on removal. City death registers may include names, age, race, color, where born, parents, marital status, birth date and place, death date and place, cause of death, location of grave, religion, occupation, and grave location.
