Scope and Content
This series records the findings of the Grand Jury in the Second Territorial District Court in Beaver County. Included are the names of attorneys, court officials, deputy, name of accused, and witnesses examined before the Grand Jury. The record may contain the indictment in the form of written statement describing the offense, writs to the sheriff for the summoning of juries, officers and defendants, the sheriff's statement pronouncing the arrest of defendant and bail amount, minute book entries, defendants refute to unlawful conviction, the order and the judgment and decree of sentence.
