Scope and Content
Blue Mountain Mining District recorder, A.L.F. MacDermott, created an entry book in which he kept a chronological list of all documents recorded. For each document he noted the name of the claim, whether it was lode or placer, the kind of document, the dates it was created and filed, the names of locators, and his assigned file number. Most documents were notices of location.

Research Note
The Blue Mountain entry book was created in a preprinted registry which was intended to be used as an index. The letters printed at the tops of the pages are irrelevant.
