Scope and Content
This series contains official minutes and transcripts of meetings and public hearings held by the Utah Educational Survey Committee. The Committee was a fact finding body appointed in 1939 by Governor Henry H. Blood. Their purpose was to identify significant problems of public education in Utah and to produce a report for presentation to the Governor "on or before July 1, 1940." Agenda, attendance rolls, invitations, and relevant correspondence are also included.
