Scope and Content
This series documents correspondence, news releases, reports, and other materials relating to two federal programs with which Governor Rampton and the state of Utah were involved: the Comprehensive Annual Services Program Plan (which relates to Title XX of the Social Security Act of 1974 or 1975); and the Economic Stabilization Program (which relates to the Economic Stabilization Act of 1970). Rampton was appointed by President Nixon to serve on the Committee on State and Local Government Cooperation, which was an advisory panel to the President's Cost of Living Council, Price Commission, and Pay Board. The Cost of Living Council, Price Commission, and Pay Board were under the auspices of the Economic Stabilization Program.
