Scope and Content
The tax sale record book documents the sale of real property for delinquent taxes. Entries include the property owner's name, a property description, the amount of taxes owed, the cost of sale, the amount of bid, date of sale, date of redemption, the name of person redeeming the property and a description of what portion of lot or tract sold for taxes.

A larger set of similar records should have been recorded by the Iron County treasurer, but apparently these are not extant.
