Scope and Content
The objective of the reports is to determine the annual harvest, including age and sex composition, of cougars in Utah. The reports contain information pertaining to methods, results, permit sales, cougars taken by licensed hunters, depredation harvest, mortality, sport harvest, and population. The report title has varied over the years, including "Utah Cougar Harvest," "Utah Cougar Harvest Book," and "Utah Cougar Harvest Report." The current title "Utah Cougar Annual Report" began with the 2006 report.
