Scope and Content
This series documents burials in the City Cemetery in a ledger format. Information recorded includes the name of the deceased, names of parents, name of spouse, marital status, date of death, place of death, cause of death, attending physician, location of grave, name of the sexton, and a column for remarks. Not all columns are completed for all persons. At the beginning of the the first reel is a brief history of the cemetery and of the cemetery superintendent/sexton's office written in 1978.

Alphabetical by surname.
Research Note
The earliest documented burial in the City Cemetery is in 1853. The few ledger entries which pre-date that burial are described as having been buried in Salt Lake City.

Death and burial register from Brigham City (Utah). Parks and Cemetery Dept, Series 22073, includes similar records for the years of 1872 to 1884 arranged roughly chronologically by date of death.
Cemetery plot deeds from Brigham City (Utah). City Recorder, Series 84758, contains the names of owners of the burial plots for the years 1886 through 1905, and 1963 through 1978.
