Scope and Content

The State Planning Board gathered research on Utah's population in an effort to understand the problems of the state's development, land use, and resources conservation. The series includes an apartment vacancy survey; charts; statistics; industrial movements reports; welfare expenditures; population studies of incorporated cities; and studies on demographic trends including migration, births, and deaths.
