Scope and Content
The State Planning Board worked with the press to inform the public about problems and programs of the state. The board also collected press releases and radio scripts that were pertinent to their studies. This series contains newspaper clippings, news releases, public speeches, and radio addresses. Included is information about the state's mining programs, national planning conferences, land use planning, soil conservation, reclamation, Bear River bird refuge, public health, National Park Service, farm tenancy, and recreation.
Arrangement
The series is arranged alphabetically by type. The newspaper clippings and radio addresses are thereunder arranged chronologically, and the newspaper releases and public speeches are alphabetical by title.

Processing Note
Processed by M. Call in June 1999. Due to the lack of intrinsic value of these records, it was recommended that this series be filmed and destroyed. The series was microfilmed, with hard copy destroyed in 2002.
