Scope and Content
The bulk of these sound recordings document speeches and performances given at the annual Governor's Conference on the Arts. The conference themes varied from year to year, and included theater, visual arts, dance, and music. Other sound recordings included in the series document miscellaneous meetings and programs sponsored by the Arts Council.
