Scope and Content

This series contains information on burials in the cemetery compiled by the cemetery sexton. The records include a list of burials block-by-block, as well as and alphabetical list of those buried in the cemetery and a list of deaths in the community, compiled from Virgin LDS Ward records. Included in the records is a list of burials in the Smith's Mesa Cemetery. The burial records include such information as the location of the burial, name of the deceased, birth and death dates, and names of parents. The records in this series are compiled in electronic format and printed out for reference. The Archives holds a version of the records updated to 2019.

Alphabetical by block number, thereunder numerical by plot number

Custody History

A version of these records dating through 1996 was microfilmed by the State Archives in that year. Lenny Brinkerhoff, the cemetery sexton, sent an updated versions of the lot records, along with several additional documents in Microsoft Word format, to the Archives in November 2019.
