Scope and Content
The files on this microfilm contain the budget worksheets, final budgets, correspondence with the state auditor and county assessor, and ordinances and resolutions to implement the city's budgets. The series was created to support the planning of public expenditures in Bingham Canyon and to document the levels of those expenditures for various functions and departments. Information includes line item amounts authorized to be spent, expected revenues, tax levies, and related information.

Research Note
A number of budget procedure bulletins are included in the last folder, though they date primarily from 1965. The material has been left here in order to maintain the original order of the series. There is no budget for 1961.

Processed by Paul G. C. Smith in 1995. The series originally had a reverse chronological arrangement. This series was microfilmed in May 1996, and the originals were destroyed.
