Scope and Content
This series consists of campaign records generated by campaign staff for Scott M. Matheson's 1976 and 1980 gubernatorial campaigns. Records contained in this series include Matheson's correspondence with campaign contributors and constituents, records relating to Matheson's positions on various issues (including energy, education, utilities, and taxes), and Matheson's 1976 campaign schedule. Other materials in this series include financial records relating to United States Senator Frank E. Moss's (UT) 1970 and 1976 senatorial campaigns, for which Matheson handled financial matters.
Arrangement
Chronological by campaign year, thereunder alphabetical by document type.
Thereafter the documents are arranged chronologically by day (except for 1976 thank-you notes which are arranged alphabetically by surname of contributor).
