Scope and Content

The State Planning Board worked with the Department of Public Welfare to plan for the care of those dependant on the state. Included here are a series of articles on social security; correspondence from the juvenile court and probation commission; reports of various welfare institutions in Utah; a study on old-age dependency; a group of papers read at the Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters on preserving Utah's culture; and financial reports from the department of public welfare.
