Scope and Content

The Federal Emergency Relief Administration Division of Research and Statistics worked in conjunction with the State Planning Board to create this research study. Its purpose was to measure the losses to insurance policy holders and to identify the remedies for conditions which permitted such losses. This series includes a brief outline of the proposed study, a brief survey of selected towns divided into income groups, and analyses of distributions for policies lapsed and in force.
