Scope and Content
These minutes document the Utah State Planning Board's monthly meetings. During these meetings, board members voted on and formed thirteen committees, each concentrating on a specific aspect of Utah development. The areas of concentration were land utilization, economics, finance, legislation, manufacturing, mineral resources, recreation, social planning, public works and transportation, water resources, community development, art and archeology, and labor. Each committee created bylaws or outlined their plans which are included in the minutes. They reported on studies, submitted pertinent correspondence, and voted on resolutions. Some reports and correspondence concerning these meetings are also included. They contain an organization chart, letters of notification as to meeting times and places, and a few reports not included in the minutes.

Processing Note
Processed by M. Call in June 1999. Due to the lack of intrinsic value of these papers, this series was microfilmed in 2002 with the hard copy destroyed.
