Utah State Archives Series 8690

This series contains registers documenting the issuing of building permits for various building construction projects in Salt Lake City. Entries are numbered consecutively in the chronological order in which the building permits were registered. The entry number coincided with the number of the building permit issued. In addition to the permit number, the registers record such information as the date of the permit, the property owner or individual applying for the permit, the architect on the project, the project builder, the address of the building, a very brief description of the type of building or project, and the estimated cost.
